Booked through Viator, Tripadvisor, Expedia, Belizing, a hotel, travel advisor or another provider? The cancellation terms attached to that reservation apply, and changes should be managed through the provider you booked with.
Changes, Late Arrivals & No-Shows
If your travel plans change but you still want to tour with us, contact St. Leonard's as early as possible. Early notice gives us the best chance to help.
Changing Your Date
We will do our best to move your reservation to another available date. Changes are subject to availability and any special conditions attached to the specific tour or booking. Contact us before cancelling if you would prefer to move your experience instead.
Late Arrivals & No-Shows
Please be ready at your confirmed pickup or meeting location at the agreed time. Tours may involve transportation schedules, attraction arrangements and other guests, so a departure cannot always be delayed. If you are running late, contact us immediately. If the tour can no longer reasonably wait or proceed with you, the reservation will be treated as a no-show and will be non-refundable.
When Conditions Affect Your Tour
Adventure tours in Belize can be affected by weather, river levels, road conditions and access to caves, archaeological sites or other attractions. These circumstances are sometimes outside St. Leonard's control, but we will explain what has changed and what options are available.
Weather, Flooding or Unsafe Conditions
Severe weather, flooding, unsafe river conditions, road or access problems, or another safety concern may require us to adjust, postpone or cancel a tour.
Conditions can change quickly, particularly for river and cave activities. Decisions may therefore need to be made close to the scheduled departure time. If your tour is affected, we will explain the situation and the practical options available.
A Site or Activity Becomes Unavailable
Archaeological sites, caves, parks and other attractions may occasionally close or restrict access.
If only part of your itinerary is affected, we may be able to revise the route, offer an appropriate alternative or continue the remaining portions of a combination tour. Before proceeding, we will explain the revised itinerary, available alternatives and any applicable adjustment or refund for the unavailable portion.
St. Leonard's Cannot Operate the Entire Tour
If St. Leonard’s cannot provide the entire booked tour, you may choose to move the booking to another available date, accept a suitable alternative experience, or receive a full refund of payments made directly to St. Leonard’s Tours.
Need to Cancel or Change a Booking?
Contact St. Leonard's as soon as you know your plans have changed. Please include the name used for the booking, the tour name, scheduled date and booking or reference number if you have one.
If a refund is due under this policy, St. Leonard's will confirm the refund arrangements with you. Once processed, the time required for the funds to appear may depend on your original payment method, bank or card provider.
